Owari no Seraph ( Review ) ( No Spoiler )

Status  :-  Finished   Airing Episodes  :-  12 Genre  :-  Action , Drama , Shounen , Vampire I really don't get why some people think that Owari no Seraph is similar to AOT. While it is true that both anime are about revenge-driven boys who want to kill vampires/Titans, have wickedly awesome weapons and gears, and test the boundaries of losing one's humanity, but other than that, there's nothing more. While AOT focuses on discovering the truth, Owari No Seraph focuses on the importance of family and friendship.  Both anime are unique in their own ways and they're both fun, badass, and interesting. On what seems a normal day, a mysterious virus occurs and kills every infected human over the age of 13. At the same time vampires appear and take the remaining children, including the children of the Hyakuya orphanage under 'their wing'. To the great dislike of our protagonist Yuuichiro Hyakuya, the children are used as livestock for the vampire

Haikyuu!!: Karasuno Koukou VS Shiratorizawa Gakuen Koukou

T he hype in Haikyuu is beyond unreal, and the third season is the best example of this. If you told me a couple of years ago that an anime franchise involving high school sports would become one of my favorites in the medium, I probably would've laughed in your face. But I've come to realize that the quality of an anime goes beyond how it makes you think. How it makes you feel is just as important. There isn’t much in the way of story this season, due mostly to its shorter run time. Being in a 5 set match is unfamiliar territory for our favorite Karasuno team, which begins to show as the series progresses. Exhaustion starts to become a factor, and for the first time I can remember in Haikyuu, players begin to tire mentally and physically. This incorporates a

Koutetsujou no Kabaneri ( Review ) ( No Spoiler )

Status  :- Finished   Airing Episodes  :- 12 Genre  :- Action , Horror , Fantasy The show started very well. Despite of the amount of people comparing it with AoT, the first seemed that this show would be a blast, and also would be nothing like AoT. The plot besides "group of individuals trying to survive zombie apocalypse on a train" and most of the conflict comes from compromises regarding what's necessary in order to survive, which all gets resolved relatively cleanly for the most part. The majority of the characters are fun and interesting enough, but they're mostly there to be support to the show's two main half-human/half-zombie leads: a young angry science nerd named Ikoma and a little badass, yet emotional girl named Mumei. And even then, the former mostly exists either to support the latter or just be a fighting nerd. With an anime like Koutetsujou No Kabaneri… it definitely contains a lot of action and drama. We get to explore the journ

Kimi no Na Wa ( Your Name ) ( No Spoiler )

Status  :- Finished   Airing   Episode :- 1 Genre :- Supernatural , Drama , Romance , High School Review ( No Spoiler ) Your Name is, if anything, a classic Makoto Shinkai work. It is beautiful, both in visuals and in story. It tugs at the heartstrings, appealing to things that every viewer can identify with, either out of personal experience or out of desire to experience. But more than anything else, it leaves the audience satisfied, throughout its runtime and in its conclusion, with a story well told. Your Name handily takes its place as not just my favorite Shinkai film, but my favorite film entirely. I never tired of the characters. They are well-developed and Shinkai does an amazing job on slowly and subtly revealing what kind of people the two main characters  are. Voice actors also did an amazing job. The plot is quite fast-paced, something I found fresh considering how calm and quiet Shinkai's movies usually are. There were moments in the m

Steins;Gate

That’s why its potential is infinite.” Okabe Rintarou (Steins;Gate) Steins;Gate is an absolute masterpiece. The first episode is incredibly confusing, and the rest is some light-hearted story about a group of friends developing a device that is able to send text messages to the past. The story does get more dark and thrilling along the way, and when you're half way into the show, shit gets real. Time travel is an overwhelmingly, infamously difficult concept to build a work of fiction around, as many stories centered around the idea can't help but eventually succumb to a vicious cycle of increasingly-obvious plot holes. You rarely see a work of this sort that's not only able to logically explain its world, characters and conclusions, but also able to make the viewing of such a winding, complex narrative clear, concise and,

Mob Psycho 100

Status  :-  Finished   Airing Episodes  :-  12 Genre  :- Supernatural , Action , Comedy Review ( No Spoilers ) Mob Psycho 100 is about an 8th grader psychic named Shigeo (also known as Mob) who tries his best to become a normal person by trying to fit into society. The story focuses on Mob and how he tries his best to control his powers and not cause any harm, while being in very risky situations. The story may seem a bit simplistic at first, and near the beginning it kind of is, but the series starts to get more complex and explores many themes like morality and what it means to be different. But the story just doesn’t focus on Mob, but also other characters too, like his mentor (who is a scammer) and his brother (who has an inferiority complex). At first the series has more of an episode/slice-of-life structure, but in the second half, the main story gets introduced. Mob Psycho 100 looks and feels a lot different from your normal anime. The style is very over-the-t

Drifters

The first episode had me craving more. I was desperate to know where it was going. The characters are astoundingly unique in personality. The whole idea of the series feels refreshing to the anime that have been released. The art is dark and sharp, which fits the feel of the anime perfectly. It's not all death, blood and guts. They make the effort to have comedic parts where they fit perfectly and give you nice little laughs. The battles in this are cool, but a lot of it is more tense army battle/strategy than cool, showy fights. The feel of uprising and war is great, you find yourself anxious, anticipating what the Drifters and other parties will do. What will be the next move? What is the point of all this and why are they here? The premise of the story is quiet original and well execut
